Presentation

I'm living in Barcelona (Catalonia , South of Europe ) but i was born in Riudebitlles, a little town near at Barcelona. I'm a computer enthusiast, currently i doing a Computer Architecture Master in FIB/UPC after i reached my Computer Science Bachelor in FIB/UPC. I like a several flavours about Computer Science around the distributed systems, grid computing and operating systems. I have also another hobby, rock climbing, some weekends you can found to me climbing some walls in typical crags of Catalonia (Montserrat, Prades, Montrgrony, ...)

A brief curriculum, jobs and computer skills:

• Studies : Bachelor in Computer Science for FIB UPC, currently I'm doing a Computer Architecture Master.
• Jobs : I'm a researcher at Barcelona Supercomputing Center, I working in different aspects of Job Scheduling subject.
• My Computer interest : Distributed Systems, Operating Systems and Grid Computing are my favourite areas. I enjoy hacking and reading source code of projects related with this subjects.
• Other computer skills:C, C++, Python, Assembler, Php. Xml, Xslt. Apache, MySql. Tcp/ip, iptables.

Projects, papers and others:

• Apdn App Python Distributed Network, one middleware to run python programs into one cluster of computers
• Dcache Dynamic cache, one distributed cache for web servers.
• Experiencies de Socialitzacio del Coneixement Paper written with Jordi Torrents to explain how a new relations will be build a new methods for share the knowledge from one free source point view.
